Great product for being 74 years old. Not one blemish on the chain. Saved the pouch, but wearing the chain right now with my P1940’s. Arrived on what would have been my grandfather’s 106th birthday. This is the second time I’ve ordered from WWII Dog Tags and it probably won’t be the last.
Love that these are authentic. No CoA but I believe it because like the others Lance has made it clear he’s a man of honor.
HOWEVER;
My one and ONLY issue, and the ONLY reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the ORIGINAL 1945 chain (currently on my neck after receiving today) is only 24 inches as opposed to the 27 inch chain set I bought six years ago for 1/40th of the cost. Maybe the “original” chain wasn’t available in 2015, or maybe I opted for the longer and forgot. But 24” is just shorter than I’m used to or is comfortable.
Not going to return or exchange though because I’d rather have time period appropriate chain than a longer more fashionable set. Honestly besides having a large head the only reason I like the 27” as opposed to the 24” is because my long (also 24”) beard hides the dog tag my grandfather wore through France and then Germany from 1942-1946
Regardless, this is really just a long-winded way of saying I’m grateful for this website/retailer
